The only requirement to join Northern Beaches Toastmasters Club is a desire to improve communication, listening and leadership skills in the friendly atmosphere of a social dinner. We are not an advanced club, although most of our members are experienced toastmasters.

Quite a few members have chosen to belong to our club because we meet only once a month and this means less time involvement in assignment preparation. Many have joined because they enjoy the social camaraderie of toastmasters. If it were not for our club, these people would not be in toastmasters at all. The majority of our members do belong to at least one other toastmasters club and so with the added benefit of belonging to multiple clubs, additional opportunities to speak and grow in confidence are there.

Our annual subscription fee is $96, paid bi-annually in September and March. The $30 joining fee for Toastmasters International is waived if you are a member of another toastmasters club. As a member of a second club, you will receive an additional copy of the magazine of Toastmasters International...one to keep in your workplace, one to keep at home or one to give to a friend.
