Northern Beaches Toastmasters Club offers an agenda with a difference.
We are a dinner club, which enables you to enjoy a meal during the meeting.

At each meeting, we have time allocated for 3 prepared speeches. When you choose to give a speech, you can choose the style of evaluation you would like: the standard evaluation (given in regular clubs) or a more in-depth evaluation or perhaps a round-robin feedback that can help you succeed as a professional speaker. Evaluations are the cornerstone of the Toastmasters educational program and we offer these different evaluations because we believe they are the very essence of our development as communicators and leaders.

Speaking at different venues is also challenging for most people. Many of us are comfortable speaking at the same venue in front of the same audience meeting after meeting. Some of our venues may at times, be less than ideal with different lighting, seating arrangements and noise levels; on the other hand, some of our venues may be better than the standard meeting venue. These are challenges which need to be met and overcome if we want to ride to the top of the public speaking ladder. When we are asked to speak outside our club, we do not always have control over the environment and Northern Beaches Toastmasters Club will help prepare you for this.
